Building SEction

With this command you can set up a building section in just a few clicks. Through the command settings you can adjust the dimensions to your needs. When everything is set as desired the command will ask you to pick a point. This is the point where the building meets the outdoor space. The command will ask for a second point. This point will determine to which side the building has to be drawn. After picking the second point all you need to do is enter the number of stories. Once that is determined the command will draw a section out of polylines with the specified number of stories on the side where the second point is picked. By default, the command will draw an open-ended section. You can choose however to draw a closed section. When you do and set the depth to zero the second point you pick will also determine the depth of the section. Apart from deciding to draw an open or closed section you can change an array of other values. You can set specific values for the height of the bottom floor and floors above it. You can set values for the thickness of walls and floors. Another value allows you to set the height of the edge on top of the section. Even the height of the wall above and below the window can be specified. The newly drawn polylines will be placed on layers generated by the command. There are separate layers for the floors, rooms, the outline of the building and for the glass panes. By default, the polylines are hatched, which are on their own layers as well.
