Hatches can be very useful to characterise a particular area in your drawing. If you want to show differences in the areas 'Hatch Pattern Random' can help you to apply random patterns to those areas. The areas should be hatched with a solid hatch. With the 'Hatch Pattern Random' command you can select the solid hatches. After you confirmed the selection you can create a selection of hatch patterns by selecting hatches with a pattern you want to apply. When you made that selection you can choose to add a random angle to the hatch, to make the hatches even more random.
