Wild Stretcher Bond

When your drawing requires some detail, you might want to draw the elements in a facade or path. Drawing a pattern with one size element can be quiet time-consuming, let alone a pattern with random sized elements. With 'Wild Stretcher Bond' you can place such a pattern in an instance. By selecting linear entities the command will place strips along those entities. Every strip is build up out of elements. The dimensions of the pattern are defined by three variables; the offset, the division and the element size. With the offset you basically set the width of the path. The division is basically the width of a strip, the smaller the value you set for the division the more strips will be place along the linear entity. With the element size you determine how a strip is build up. The smaller the element size you set the more elements will go in a strip. The offset, division and the element values are all picked random from values you specify. You can set a minimum and a maximum with the min-max method. With this method the command will pick a value randomly between that minimum and maximum for the offset, the division and the element size. This way about every element in your pattern will be of a unique size. If you wish to have some more control on those size you can choose the list method. With that method you can set a list of values from which values are picked randomly. If you like to change the variation you can use the vary option. By default the command will use a random size for each element in a strip. You can change this however, so the command will vary the size of the elements per strip. By default the command will place the pattern on both sides of the linear entity but with the 'side' option you can place the pattern on either side of the linear entity. If you want to switch between pattern types quickly you can use the 'preset' option. Every pattern of lines placed around a linear entity will be grouped by default.
